Make sure to pop into one of the independent stores along the road to find unique keepsake gifts and items to make your room more like home.
Hampstead Village
Take a dip in one of London's famous lidos or venture north for a pond swim with leafy views of Hampstead Heath. With cute streets, fancy boutiques, coffee shops and the magical Hampstead Pergola next door with its overgrown vines and flowers. It’s the perfect place to relax from city life and studying.
Kew Gardens

Fun fact - Kyoto Garden was opened in 1991 and was a gift from Kyoto to celebrate the long friendship between Japan and Great Britain.
Little Venice
Little Venice is one of London’s secret gems – filled with colourful houseboats and charming waterside cafes. Tucked away between two canals, the Great Union Canal and Regent’s Canal. Taking a boat trip in Little Venice is practically a rite of passage and deserves a spot on your list of things to do this summer. In an area best known for its beautiful waterways, it’s no surprise that exploring it by boat is an absolute must.

Primrose Hill

Ruislip Lido
The lovely London beach you can get to on the tube, behold the golden sands of Ruislip Lido. Ruislip Lido is a 60-acre lake sat on the edge of a lovely 726-acre nature reserve – that’s twice the size of Hyde Park. It’s an indisputably cute reason to push your Oyster Card to the limits and head out to Zone 6 and it’s only an hour from central London.
Richmond Park
Grab a blanket, pack a picnic with your favourite snacks and head to the iconic Richmond Park. Take a relaxing walk through the reserve and relax in the sun. You might be lucky enough to spot one of the many deer that live there.
