A smooth start to university life in London

Starting university in a new city is a big step for students and those who support them. At Chapter, we focus on making that move feel welcoming, safe and manageable, with just the right balance of independence and support. Each of our buildings gives students a secure place to live, space to study and a community they can grow into. With on-site teams, useful facilities and a calm, student-focused environment, we aim to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved.

Safety and wellbeing are our priority

Choosing the right student accommodation is important for both students and parents. At Chapter, every building has an on-site team available 24/7, providing support, front-desk services and security when needed. Access to our buildings and rooms is via key fob and shared areas are well-lit and monitored by CCTV to maintain a secure environment. We also look after student wellbeing. Our teams take time to get to know residents and are available if they ever need guidance or an extra check-in as they settle into life in London. When needed, we can help students find the right professional support.

Supporting students beyond their room

University life is easier when students feel connected. Each Chapter building has shared spaces and a regular programme of events that give students simple ways to take breaks from studying, meet people naturally and settle into life in London.

From wellbeing sessions to practical workshops and relaxed social events, we create opportunities to connect and build confidence as they find their routine.

It’s support they can dip into when they want to, without ever feeling pressured or overscheduled.

FAQs

Everything parents need to know

We have CCTV in and around each property, an electronic key entry system for the main entrance, common areas, each flat and bedroom. There is also staff on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you’re having any problems with your room, a shared living space, or one of the communal areas, you have two options. You can log the issue via the Resident portal, providing details so our maintenance team can get this sorted for you as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can come down to the front desk and talk to a member of the team so we can log it on your behalf.

We want your university experience to be as positive as possible – if you are having any issues with your flat mates, please let us know. We will do our best to help resolve any problems you might be having.

We are more than happy to accommodate groups as well as individuals. Let us know who you’re planning to live with, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you in the same flat.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to keep any pets in your room or any shared living spaces.
