Attention all current residents - you’ve got 3 days left to rebook your room for a chance to win 2 tickets to see either Ed Sheeran or MayDay in concert. We're closing the prize drawer at the end of the day on Friday 23rd February, and notifying the winners on Monday 26th - make sure you're in the running!
Ed Sheeran is slap bang in the middle of his Divide tour - 205 shows spread over 6 continents, all of which completely sold out. If you've never had the pleasure, here's what you can expect at the show.
Special Guests
In the last year, Ed’s racked up duets with royalty – Eminem, Beyonce and Taylor Swift, to name but a few. It might be wishful thinking to hope for a stage invasion from one of these heavyweights, but you never know - Stormzy is a London local and his remix of Shape of You was everywhere last year ... fingers crossed!
Opening Act
Sheeran recently announced that UK singer-songwriter Anne-Marie would be main support on all his European dates. If the name doesn't ring a bell, you might recognise her as the vocalist on Clean Bandit's number 1 Rockabye. She's put out a couple more hits recently, with Ciao Adios and Friends both in heavy radio rotation - it'd definitely be worth getting down there early to check her out.
Setlist
With 3 huge number 1 albums to draw tunes from, Ed's concerts are looking less like an emerging artist finding his feet, and more like a greatest hits setlist.
Expect him to open with his massive Castle on the Hill, and a proper stadium sing-along to Thinking Out Loud. We're not predicting a single dry-eye in the house when he decides to play Perfect. Then in typical Sheeran fashion, it's a safe bet that he'll finish his encore with You Need Me, I Don't Need You - a throwback for the fans who've been around since his SBTV days.
