Chapter Portobello is based in one of London’s most exclusive boroughs near famous Portobello Road and Notting Hill. Whilst it has a fantastic location, it is a little further from a tube station than some tired students might like to walk. So, because we know that getting up for 9am lectures is hard enough, we run a speedy and reliable shuttle bus service, which takes you directly from Chapter Portobello to the nearby stations. The journey takes a mere 10 minutes and from Notting Hill Gate station, it’s only 15-20 minutes into Central London.
The bus runs every 20-25 minutes on weekdays between 07:30-09:30 and 17:00-19:00 and can take as many as 16 residents at time.

As part of our refurbishment programme at Chapter Portobello, we also organised an extra Chapter bus service which took over from the existing service. We thought we would make this bus a little bit special too, so we painted it matt black and gold like the picture above.
The Chapter bus took residents to local tube stations, universities and Chapter Spitalfields so that they were able to access incredible social spaces whilst Chapter Portobello was undergoing its makeover. There was also a weekend service which operated during the day to take residents to Westfield Shopping Centre, the West End and other key destinations
