Building improvement works, undertaken with your safety in mind.
From September 2026, we'll be making some important safety improvements at Chapter Highbury, continuing through into 2026–2027.
What's happening
We're investing in upgrades that will make your home even safer, both inside and out:
- Inside, we're introducing more advanced fire suppression and detection technology in resident rooms, so any issue is spotted and addressed sooner than ever.
- Outside, we're refreshing the building's exterior with newer, safer materials, as part of our ongoing commitment to the highest safety standards.
You're already well looked after
You're already well protected at Chapter, with round-the-clock fire and smoke monitoring, detection in every room, kitchen safety features, and a management team on-site every day of the week. This work simply adds another layer to those existing measures.
We're here to support you
We know works like this can be disruptive, and that's not something we take lightly. There may be a bit more noise, some temporary changes to shared spaces, and additional teams on-site while we complete the improvements.
If your room is affected, we'll take care of the details together:
Plenty of notice
You'll know well in advance if we need to move you to another room within Highbury for a short period of time, so there are no surprises.
We'll do the heavy lifting
Our team will help you pack, move, and settle in, both temporarily and back home again.
A thank you for your patience
We'll recognise the disruption with a gesture that reflects the impact on your stay.
