Chapter With Lucy | Chapter London

Published: 01 Aug 18

Are you following the language vlogger English with Lucy? If you’re an overseas student and not familiar with her, check her out for the hottest tips on speaking English and learning about British culture.

This month we invited her to visit some Chapter properties in order to help international students find the perfect student accommodation when coming to study in London.

We gave her a tour of Chapter Kings Cross to give her a feel for life as a student at Chapter, and her video shows that she was pleasantly surprised with what she found. She even said it was ‘the most incredible student accommodation she’s ever seen in her life’. Thanks Lucy!

Lucy’s latest video covers her 7 top tips for studying in the UK, and she gives a special shout out to Chapter as the place to stay whilst you’re here - check out the video below.

Other subjects that she covers are things to think about when choosing your university, applying for a VISA, familiarising yourself with British culture, and making friends whilst you’re here.

She gives some great tips about joining societies and attending events to surround yourself with like-minded people and make some lasting friendships. A perfect reminder that you can go to all the parties and events at the other Chapters across London too, so you could potentially meet many people from all over the city and the globe.

Check out this video, and all her other great content at her YouTube channel here:

It’s important to give our residents as much advice as we can about life in London, the ways to make the most of your studies and have the best time while you’re here. Lucy mentions that her experience with us made her want to re-live her student days as a resident at Chapter – we’d be happy to have you Lucy!

Check out our other blog posts here for our own tips of things to do as a student in London.
